Cottontail - Duke Ellington, but not just any recording, I’m talking about the 1940s “that tail is on fire” recording from when the Duke had his greatest lineup of musicians.
As some of you know, I’m a classically trained musician and composer (I’m only 26 though, so I’m not some old dude), so of course music and driving are connected to one another and I tend to lean towards the pieces that get me pulled over.
Recorded in Hollywood, 1940

Very cool. This was recorded right around when bebop was developing and you can definately hear it in the sax lines.
